Please read the following information carefully. If you decide to travel on a trip with Karl Sandberg and make payment on a tour, you thereby agree to accept the terms and conditions of this contract.

 

RESERVATION - A deposit of € 500 of the tour price must be received at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Full payment is required 60 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATION - upon receiving written notice of the cancellation, the following schedule will apply:

• 61 days or more prior to tour departure: full refund, less a €100 processing fee.
• 60–0 days prior to departure: no refund will be given.

If you must cancel, we will be as understanding as possible and will make every effort to be flexible.

POSSIBLE ALTERATIONS - Karl Sandberg reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to tour departure. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, unforeseen circumstances associated with operating in wilderness and remote areas, or insufficient bookings. If we do not have our minimum number of guests to feasibly run a trip we will notify you 30 days prior to departure and will refund you the full amount. Karl Sandberg is not responsible for any additional costs that may arise in the event a trip is altered or delayed for reasons beyond our control.

COMPANY LIABILITY – Karl Sandberg and their respective officers, servants and agents are not responsible for any claims, loss, damage, cost liability or expense arising, direct or indirect, out of injury, accident or death, loss, damage or delay of baggage or other property, or delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration, whether physical, mental, or otherwise relating to the provision of travel services, other trips and tours and accommodations.

FORCE MAJEURE - Karl Sandberg will not be responsible for the performance of this agreement if prevented or delayed by Acts of God, strikes, accidents, weather, traffic, airport conditions or other causes beyond their reasonable control nor will they be responsible for any loss or damage relating to train cancellations or any other cancellations.

BAGGAGE - Guests travelling on our overland tours are limited to one suitcase or duffle bag per person with a weight not to exceed 20 kg. This baggage will be carried in the rear of the vehicle or in a luggage trailer. Passengers may also bring a small carry-on bag with them in the vehicle.

PASSPORT and VISA - Everyone traveling by Karl Sandberg needs a valid passport, and Russian visa.
